What you need
- The lyophilized vial.
- Bacteriostatic water (sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol).
- A sterile syringe and alcohol swabs.
The method, in research terms
- Swab both vial tops.
- Draw the intended volume of bacteriostatic water.
- Inject it slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial — never straight onto the powder.
- Let it dissolve. Gentle swirl only. Never shake.
- Label the vial with the date and concentration, refrigerate.
How much water
That depends on the vial size and the concentration your protocol needs. Use the free Vial Tool calculator — type the milligrams and the water volume and it does the math.
Storage
Powder: cool, dark, dry, long shelf life. Reconstituted: refrigerated, used within the window your protocol specifies.
